Sports Section

With a student population of over 800 boys St. Eunan's offers a wide range of activities to cater for the wants and needs of the student body. St. Eunan's Colege has a diverse extra curricular programme. The school has a proud sporting tradition. We have Gaelic, Soccer and Basketball teams at all age levels and we participate in inter-collegiate championships at Ulster level leading on to participation at All Ireland Level.

The College has Golf, Athletics and swimming teams all competing at inter-county,Provincial and national level.

We have had notable sporting succes in the past with the College bringing the first All-Ireland title in Gaelic Football to Donegal and in the same year the seniors also won the All-Ireland Soccer. Three out of four All-Ireland Soccer titles were landed in 2005, a feat that no other school or college in the countrty has managed.

2001 was a great year for the Basketballers in the college when the seniors won the All-Ireland B title following on from the sucess of landing the U16 title in 1999.

The College has long provided a steady stream of talent for the county teams at all ages, In 2000 the MacLarnon was won after a lapse of 21 years and the Colmcille was won for the first time. Since then the Gaelic footballers have capturedf all Ulster Colleges titles on offer.

In the Athletics sphere James King among others rose to prominence with his outstanding displays in the All Ireland series.
