HOME - FUTURE - COMPUTER LABS

In this modern age of information technology and the "superhighway" computer Literacy is one for everyone not just the preserve of those in Labs and research facilities. With ever more jobs being created in the Technology sector the demand for modern and state of the art computer facilities is more evident than ever before.

St. Eunan's College has today two modern computer Labs, a long way from the single Apple 2 in Mr. Harvey's room! Edward Harvey saw the dawning of the age of technology and he fostered an interest in computers with the development of a computer club in 1980. Students from the college attended computer exhibitions with their home written programmes, developed on the fashionable ZX Spectrum with its rubber keys or those with money had the fancy Amstrad 262!!

Today students in the college sit the GCSE Computer exams each year such is the interest in computers.
